Champagne de Venoge
Épernay
An extraordinary champagne house with roots in historic times
Founded in 1837 by Henri-Marc de Venoge, an emigrant from the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The house created the first ever illustrated champagne label in 1838 and adopted the Cordon Bleu as its symbol — a reference to the river Venoge and the Order of the Holy Spirit. De Venoge was one of the founding houses of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques de Champagne and today houses one of the most impressive wine libraries in Champagne with nearly 20,000 vintage bottles.
